What is the role?
You will be tasked with will be building and rebuilding machines that come through, and then uninstalling any unnecessary software that comes with the machines. You will also be rebuilding the computers to run windows 10 from windows 7. In addition you will also be updating the software where necessary and run checks on user accounts to ensure they function correctly.
What will you need?
Extensive experience of supporting end users of typical Office applications and additional specialist applications
Experience of providing & supporting large and complex IT facilities spanning several sites, including the provision of 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support as required.
Extensive experience of supporting end users of typical Office applications and additional specialist applications
Configuring and supporting SQL and Oracle Databases
Implementing and administering Microsoft Windows 2008\2012 server and Windows 7
Desirable: Configuring switches, enterprise firewalls and routers for QoS, VLANs and Business Continuity purposes.
