East Ayrshire Lisalanna Project provides a short break respite service throughout the year to upwards of 25 families and our residential service currently provides long term support for 2 young people. The young people who attend our project have a variety of disabilities and some display challenging behaviour. Both services are collocated with the Lisalanna Family support service in Cumnock, East Ayrshire.
How you'll make a difference:
As an Administrative Officer, you will support the service we provide:
By delivering a full range of administrative and front of house services including organising a range of activities associated with the day to day running of our busy project.
By providing an excellent front of house service to greet internal and external visitors, ensuring their experience is welcoming and professional.
By producing presentations, written and financial reports for management, including formatting of information and data.
What you'll need:
- Experience of using PCs on a business network running Microsoft Windows and Office, along with email and internet.
- Experience of providing a confidential, professional service and be able to work flexibly to meet the demands of the role.
- Able to work within a team environment, demonstrating tact and diplomacy with other members of staff.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to take responsibility for a project or task and deliver within agreed timescales and deadlines.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn new processes and demonstrate good practice to others.
- Proven track record in the use of I.T packages
- Able to liaise with senior external stakeholders to co-ordinate key activities.
- Skilled in being able to present a range of information in a variety of formats to different audiences and within hierarchy.
