As an Administrative Officer you'll be a key member of our Business Support team working at the Scotland Head Office in Glasgow and will play a vital role in the above, providing high level support to the Scotland Leadership Team who in turn offer support and guidance to over 85 services throughout Scotland. You will report directly to the Business Support National Lead for Scotland.
Your role:
As a Business Support Officer you will be predominantly responsible for providing administrative support to members of the Scotland Leadership team as well as general support to the wider office. This will be a varied role undertaking support to HR and Finance including contract management as well as compiling data, minute taking and diary management. You will also be expected to deal with internal and external stake holders, be responsible for your own tasks and be confident and capable to lead on some of them. You will have the ability to present a variety of information in various formats to different stakeholders within a senior level. Experience of providing a professional and confidential service and flexibility within this role is essential. You will also be part of a team that is the first point of contact for visitors to the office providing a professional reception service.

What you'll need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within a similar administrative role with excellent communication skills is essential.
- Advanced IT Skills and experience of use of various IT systems including Microsoft Office 365 - SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
- Previous experience in dealing with local authority service contracts
- To be able to work autonomously on own initiative on a regular basis
- Have experience of dealing with Senior management on an ongoing basis
- Good at prioritising and meeting deadlines with excellent organisation and planning skills.
- You will be a confident communicator, able to converse with senior professionals from a variety of backgrounds.
- You will be fully committed to working towards the best outcomes for children and young people.
- You will be proactive with a can do attitude
- Ability to handle sensitive data.
