Key requirements:
- Minimum 6 months care experience in the UK
- Ability to work 30-40 hours per week with flexible availability
- Access to transport (essential for reaching services in Hoddesdon and surrounding areas)
- Fluent English (verbal and written) for ease of communication with service users
- Committed to health and safety, reliable, and well-organised
Your responsibilities include:
- Following care plans and risk assessments
- Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Administering medication (training provided)
- Supporting mobility and physical therapy
- Preparing meals and assisting with feeding where required
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Domestic tasks (cleaning, laundry, shopping)
- Providing detailed written handover notes and reporting concerns
- Acting responsibly in emergencies
Your role:
- Support individuals with physical and mental health challenges
- Assist with personal care, mobility, and medication (training provided)
- Prepare meals, provide companionship, and help with daily tasks
- Follow care plans and act responsibly in emergencies
