๐ฃ Hours: Monday to Friday | 08:30 AM - 5:00 PM
๐ท Pay: Up to ยฃ33.88 per hour (Umbrella)
๐ Role Overview:
Join our dedicated team supporting children, young people, and their families across Stoke-on-Trent. As an Advanced/Senior Practitioner, you will play a key role in assessment, safeguarding, and care planning, ensuring the welfare of children is always the top priority.
๐ Key Responsibilities:
๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ Involve children, young people, and families fully in assessments and care planning
๐ Work to agreed practice standards and meet Social Work England registration requirements
๐ก๏ธ Safeguard children and young people, taking appropriate action when safety is at risk
โค๏ธ Promote the health, wellbeing, and safety of children, young people, families, and carers
โ๏ธ Manage more complex casework with skill and professionalism
โฐ Use time management effectively and respond flexibly to service needs
๐ Support efficient deployment of departmental resources
๐ฆบ Follow all health and safety procedures and standards at work
๐ค Provide support and cover to the Principal Manager when required
๐ Always prioritize the welfare of the child or young person
โ Ideal Candidate:
Registered Social Worker with relevant experience in child and family services
Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child welfare principles
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage complex caseloads and work collaboratively
