The Business Method Engineer is responsible for deploying, maintaining, and supporting reliable, efficient and integrated production solutions to Operations, to enable industrial excellence.
Main Responsibilities
- Test & Develop Core ARP solutions in line with Broughton Industrial System
- Interface between ARP Core Team & wider ME e.g. Work Prep, Config, Lineside & PPE
- Interface between ARP Core Team & other functions e.g. Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations & Quality
- Document best practice for Wing Assembly in ARP
- Understand and challenge solutions adopted by the ARP team
- Identify any gaps and suggest improvements
- You will be looking at methods, processes and documents and ensuring they are aligned to the central organisation
- Cascading any new methods into the business
- Supporting with SAP systems and acting as first line of investigation on any root causes and proposing a solution
- Don't need a programmer but someone who has experience in SAP and understanding background data
- Sustain, harmonize, develop, distribute and train on Processes, Methods, Tools, Competences and Data Management.
- Coaching, communication & facilitation with the operational teams.
- Leading Manufacturing part of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) projects including development of new PLM solution for E2E Digital Continuity (Engineering to Shop floor)
Experience Required
- Previous knowledge and experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous knowledge and experience within an aerospace background is highly desirable.
- Motivated and self-driven with the ability to work autonomously when required, whilst being a strong team player.
- SAP experience and understanding is essential.
- Keen to develop knowledge of wider Business processed & Functions
