The UK's trusted Ministry of Defence partner, MBDA, is looking for an experienced Business Process Development for Airborne System Integration (ASI) responsible for defining the processes that will stimulate the sector to function effectively and reporting to the Head of Programmes - ASI.

As a Business Process Development, the successful candidate is responsible for ensuring and delivering weapon system capability installed on military aircraft. This function is integral to facilitating access to broader markets and provides excellent whole-system ability for MBDA's products.

What you'll get to do as a Business Process Development:

  • Review ASI's current processes, written and (not written)
  • Highlight gaps and communicate findings
  • Generate improvements, write new processes, and amend existing processes
  • Pilot and test processes with end users
  • Support improvement initiatives by generating accompanying process improvements
  • Team interaction with customers, from end users, front-line commands, and procurement agencies.
  • Collaborate with other aircraft industries to ensure weapon system integration meets domestic and future customer requirements.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in business process development in a project delivery environment
  • Educated to HNC/HND but preferably Degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Outstanding communication, both written & oral and networking skills
  • Knowledge of the defence industry is preferable but not essential
  • Proficiency in proactively engaging with stakeholders and can operate with autonomy.
  • You must be a UK national or citizen and resided in the U.K. for at least five years to be eligible for the role (SC clearance requirement)

This role is based at MBDA's headquarters in Stevenage which plays a key part in missiles operations. The site also offers excellent transportation links and boasts an onsite gym and coffee shop. Training and development are offered to all employees.
