Reports to Internal Resource Manager
Role Purpose

Working on our LV, HV and EHV network, you will safely construct, maintain and repair the electrical distribution network, connecting new supplies, diversion and alterations to locating and repairing faults in line with policy and standards, to meet and exceed customer and regulator expectations.

3. Operational Responsibility
* Working on our network, carrying out jointing and cabling / excavation activities to construct and repair electrical plant and equipment
* Completion of work to the correct specification, with the delivery of all work to time and guaranteed service levels
* Protect the environment and surrounding work areas to ensure the Company's reputation is safeguarded
* Return the relevant regulatory data and subsequent drawings or asset data forms
* Demonstrate high standards by making and keeping commitments to customers and colleagues and strive to support and change our business through improvement
* Ensure that all jobs are delivered to timescale and according to company standards
* Ensure you proactively engage with the work planning and scheduling tool to record activities during the working day
* To carry out risk assessments and maintain safe working practices at all times
* Efficient and effective operation of all plant and equipment under your direct control


4. Efficiency
* Escalating any gaps in your programme to ensure full utilisation
* Be responsible for all Company issued equipment, maintaining compliance with calibration and ensuring security
* Ensure all opportunities to improve efficiency and value are communicated and acted upon
* To deliver all work to agreed productivity levels
* Drive improvements to our business outputs through innovative thinking

5. Standby and Storm Cover
* Respond to emergency events including severe weather as required supporting team members to be available to respond as appropriate to their role as defined by their contract
* Participate in the regional standby rota ensuring that you undertake standby as required, ensuring adequate cover is arranged for those that cannot be undertaken
