Making a real difference to people's lives every day

We are looking for compassionate, reliable individuals to join our team as Care Support Workers. In this rewarding role, you will provide personalised care and support that helps vulnerable people live safely, comfortably, and with the best quality of life possible. You will follow individual care plans whilst using your own judgement to adapt to changing needs, delivering care across short-term domiciliary and day service settings.

What you'll be doing

As a Care Support Worker, you will:

  • Provide personal care tailored to the individual's needs - this may include bathing, dressing, toileting, meal preparation, support with eating, and safe moving and handling using specialist equipment.
  • Administer prescribed medication under close supervision and in line with policy
  • Communicate effectively and compassionately, ensuring every person is treated with dignity and respect
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities inside and outside the service, including arranging guests or transport, and completing simple risk assessments
  • Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies, including giving basic first aid and contacting emergency services
  • Monitor and record any changes in individuals' needs, contributing to the ongoing review of care plans
  • Keep accurate daily care records, ensuring a clear and auditable account of wellbeing, incidents, and support provided

What you'll bring

In order to succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care (or equivalent)
  • Experience in delivering personal care and providing social support to individuals with moderate needs
  • Some experience administering medication
  • Knowledge of personal care procedures, medical support processes, and safe use of mobility equipment such as hoists
  • Familiarity with electronic care record systems
  • Awareness of relevant care quality standards and regulations
  • Strong communication skills, with empathy, patience, and respect
  • The ability to follow scheduled care tasks while adapting to changing priorities
  • A calm, responsive approach in challenging or unexpected situations

If you are compassionate, resilient, and motivated to help others live well, we would love to hear from you. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.
