As a Cargo Handling Agent Driver working for British Airways/IAG Cargo, no two days are the same. You will get to operate a range of vehicles, responsible for transporting a wide range of cargo. One day you may find yourself moving fragile cargo such as fruit or antiques; then the next anything from medicines to supercars.
Your talents at the wheel will be tested - as we focus on meeting our deadlines, while taking the utmost care.
What you need to join us
- Aged 21 or over at the time of application
- A current UK manual driving licence, with no points, and a minimum of two years driving experience
- A good level of physical fitness (machinery takes care of heavier lifting).
- A resilient approach and a knack for thinking constructively to find practical solutions.
- The ability to work early, late or night shifts covering 24 hours a day, year-round.
- Ability to be CAT 3 licence trained
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
- Hold a valid passport (with minimum of 12 months before expiry date)
- Unrestricted right to live and work in the UK
- Ability to obtain and retain an airside pass
