Cloud Network Engineer
Home Counties Contract £650-900 per day
We're currently seeking an accomplished and highly ambitious Cloud Network Architect to work with our exceptional client, a world class brand in a secure environment to drive major business transformation, process and technical change across this complex organisation which will run well into 2025.
These contract roles will require you to conduct security clearance prior to assignment. Opportunities are available in the Home Counties.
These Cloud Network Architect roles are conducted in an environment that is far from ordinary, therefore, we're not looking for ordinary. You'll have the potential to work effectively across a large number of teams and a diverse range of projects within our technology community. You will be encouraged and assisted to enhance your skills on unique projects.
You will be able to demonstrate your enthusiasm and experience of working in small, diverse, multi disciplinary teams to deliver flexible and outstanding solutions for internal and external senior stakeholders, designing and configuring a network infrastructure for the provision of IT projects as well as planned roadmap updates for the existing infrastructure. Exceptional stakeholder management skills are a must. Highly analytical, flexible and persuasive, with first-class influencing skills, you'll possess the ability to build effective relationships and drive high impact, lasting change across the organisation. You need to have an understanding of Agile principals and the impact of technical changes on business requirements as well as familiarity with ITIL/Prince/PROSCI.
Your experience:
As an exceptional Cloud Network Architect you will have:
- At least a CCNP certification
- Knowledge and experience of working with Cloud networks
- Experience with Data Centre technology based on Cisco Nexus 7000, 5000, 2000
- Experience in Cisco routing and switching technologies
- Experience in the following products
- Cisco ASR 1000 routers
- Cisco ISR routers
- Cisco Campus LAN switches i.e. 3850, 6500 and 6800
- Cisco ASA firewalls
- Fortinet Firewalls
- FS Load balancers, including GTM/LTM/APM
- Infoblox appliances for DNS/DHCP
- Management tools knowledge including Cisco LMS, CiscoWorks, Netflow and Wireshark
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, highly enthusiastic team player
