One of the leading manufacturers of construction equipment worldwide, JCB, is looking for skilled CNC Machinists to join their site in the Staffordshire area.
The basic rate is £16.09 per hour, and overtime is paid at time and a half.
Shift allowances are paid in addition to hourly rate, where applicable.
Operation/Setting of CNC Machines, and working to tight tolerances. All machine work will be completed according to written JCB Standard Operating Procedures.
You will be familiar with the following:
- Understanding how to load/unload components into fixtures correctly.
- Working to standard operating procedures.
- Having awareness of implications if not loaded correctly into fixtures.
- Ability and understanding of the use and maintenance of gauges and measuring equipment required to be used.
- Hard /electronic micrometers, spirit levels,
- DTIs and surface finish gauges.
- Correct use of hand tools that are required to be used and the maintenance of hand tools
