Job Purpose
To support the Basic Retail sales team with the specific ownership of certain sales related processes or needs. To provide tactical support to the account managers during periods of peak activity through the execution of important sales processes. To be an anchoring point of liaison for the Basic Retail team with internal stakeholders such as Customer Services, Supply Chain, ComEx and BusEx. To be an internal process expert on all things relating to the successful delivery of sales to our customer base. To act as point of contact for key customers in the absence of relevant account manager.
Job Accountabilities
- Working with finance, supply chain and the sales team; manage the short dated and excess stock process. Develop a strong tracking process to support pull through transparency
- Seek and consolidate feedback from the sales team to ensure the completion of the Win/Loss dashboard. Communicate trends and general observations
- Working with Legal and the account managers, develop relevant customer CAFs and contracts for customer retros and own the follow up process. Develop and share a relevant retro tracker to drive account manager focus and transparency to the wider commercial team
- Co-ordinate with the Business Excellence team and work with key customers to on a monthly basis to get transparency of SIT for selected products
- Working with Supply Chain, regularly update on performance vs allocation on selected lines. Manage any allocation under-performances by sharing with the wider team based on feedback
- Working with Supply Chain, run a weekly sales to forecast report for selected accounts
- Working with Business Excellence, make sure that the sales team are on track to achieve agreed deadlines on any price change notifications
- Ensure that the sales team are on track to achieve market feedback requests and that information is consolidated and shared by required deadlines
- To update the Click Sense Performance Dashboard so that all relevant information is up to date and timely
- To act as liaison with customer services to ensure the sales team are responding to operational needs and processes based on the period of the sales process
- To support the team with NPL execution by ensuring the capture of market feedback & the tracking of performance vs the agreed channel plan
- To support the sales team with price uploads and price requests on an ad-hoc basis
- To ensure large meetings are arranged on behalf of the team as and when needed e.g. Top2Top events, Monthly Commercial Meetings
- To own the follow up of actions agreed in key meeting events, to ensure appropriate minutes are taken
- To follow up and ensure accountability is given to any customer requests that are made directly
- To support with any ad-hoc reporting or project requests
Skills needed
- Educated to degree level in a business (preferred) or science subject
- · Experience within the UK generics commercial environment is an advantage, but not necessary
- · Experience & success of working in a fast-paced environment is an advantage
- · Displays analytical thinking, but able to act quickly and decisively
- · Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- · Excellent organisational skills
- · High change agility
- · Managing multiple priorities in a demanding environment
- · IT savvy & highly proficient with Microsoft office
