The Role

Spring Nurseries by Action for Children offer children and families in the United Kingdom, award winning, high quality and affordable childcare across our 48 settings. Providing childcare solutions with extended parenting services, our offer and approach is unique and informed by the pedagogy and expertise of internationally renowned Early Years practice and research, recognised by multiple awards and 100% Good or Outstanding ratings by Ofsted. We are looking for a commercial support administrator to join our team working remotely from home.

You will make a difference by


-Providing a range of administrative duties including photocopying, filing, data input and collation, amending directories, operating manuals, replenishing stationery and operating systems etc.
-Organising and progressing the full range of activities associated with the management of business meetings, ensuring efficient and effective planning for a single or series of meetings.
-Providing written, verbal and e-correspondence, in collaboration with management and operational colleagues, ensuring prompt, courteous and appropriate responses.
-Booking travel arrangements, accommodation for members of the team, and ensure that they have knowledge of the agreed itinerary and that they are kept up-to-date of appointments and bookings.


You will need


-Business Administration S/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification or related work experience.
-Experience of using PC's on a business network running MS Windows and Office
-Extensive experience using IT packages such as Excel,Word and Powerpoint.
-The ability to work in a remote environment as part of a team, demonstrating tact and diplomacy with other members of staff and where necessary to direct and guide.
-Effective communication written and oral to a range of different personnel both in person and over the phone.
-Strong organisational skills and experience of filing required.
