Job purpose

This varied role supports Market Access and Corporate Affairs activities across Sandoz UK and involves collaboration with the branded pharmaceuticals division of Novartis. Communications is 80% internal and 20% external with the aim to increase the external focus. The role reports to the Head of Market Access and Corporate Affairs.

Job accountabilities

Active member of the Market Access and Corporate Affairs team

  • Lead on communication projects with increasing responsibility as your capability develops;
  • Work with Head of Market Access and Corporate Affairs and Corporate Affairs Executive to map and track project milestones;
  • Being flexible to take on work across the team depending on workload and priorities

Communications

  • Take increasing responsibility for the Sandoz UK newsletter, for managing the SharePoint site, and for the organisation of all-company meetings
  • Support the Corporate Affairs Executive on projects such as re-designing the corporate website, in-person and online events and exploring the use of social media;
  • Works with public relations agencies on campaigns;
  • Work with the UK group communications on cross-divisional initiatives;
  • Monitors website content and milestones for updates;

Administration

  • Day-to-day coordination of projects and liaison with business units to deliver communications activities;
  • Set up vendors, purchase orders and have materials approved. Follow internal processes for administrative activities
  • Ensure all activities and materials are compliant using two internal systems
  • Meeting administration and diary management
