Salary: Circa £16,500 pro rata

Bradbury House is our new Short Breaks Residential service for children and young people aged between 8 and 17 years old with various learning and physical disabilities. We cater up to 7 service users on any given night.
As a Cook, it will be your responsibility to promote healthy eating across the service as well as maintaining an element of person-centered care by cooking specific to an individual.
You will be contracted to work Fridays and 2 other weekdays at the manager's discretion from the hours of 9:30am to 3pm.
How will you make a difference?
- By planning, preparing and cooking meals in accordance to different dietary requirements and individual preferences
- Taking responsibility to replenish stock and place online food orders
- Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and work surfaces
- By working in line with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene polices and procedures
- By ensuring food temperatures are recorded and monitored
- By pre - planning to minimise waste
- By developing and maintaining effective working relationships
- By promoting Healthy Eating across the service
