Job accountabilities
Administration
- Day-to-day coordination of projects and liaison with business units to deliver communications and government affairs activities;
- Set up vendors, purchase orders and have materials approved. Follow all internal processes for administrative activities;
- Meeting administration and diary management.
Active member of the Corporate Affairs team
- Lead on projects with increasing responsibility as your capability develops;
- Work with Head of Corporate Affairs and Corporate Affairs Associate to map and track project milestones;
Lobbying and communications:
- Take increasing responsibility for drafting the Sandoz UK newsletter, managing the SharePoint site, logistical organisation of all-company meetings;
- Support the Corporate Affairs Associate on roles such as re-designing the corporate website and exploring the use of social media;
- Interpret policy and political developments to inform leadership;
- Works with public relations and lobbying agencies on campaigns;
- Work with the UK group communications and group government affairs to support cross-divisional initiatives;
- Monitors website content and milestones for updates;
Compliance
- Have a working knowledge of Sandoz compliance processes and ensure all activities and materials are compliant using two internal systems;
We are looking for a talented individual
- Someone with a positive, can-do attitude who is open to receiving feedback and ambitious for personal growth
- Can demonstrate organisational and communication skills and self awareness
- Is interested in exploring a career in communications, government or public affairs
- Has a degree in Life Sciences, Business Studies, Politics or Economics.
