Our client is a trusted partner of the UK Ministry of Defence and are currently looking for an experienced Data Analyst - Component Engineering to provide critical support to the group and broader business. As a Data Analyst - Component Engineer, you will ensure our client delivers a comprehensive component service, including data and reporting activities, in a hybrid work frame of 1-2 days per week onsite. This position offers an opportunity for contract extension or permanent employment.

What we're looking for:

  • Engineering Degree (or equivalent) or relevant experience
  • Knowledge and experience in the field of engineering.
  • High concern for diligence, order, and quality
  • Pro-active and enthusiastic
  • Managing multiple issues, tasks, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and can efficiently collaborate with remote teams. I am also capable of conducting face-to-face meetings with ease.

What you'll get to do as a Data Analyst - Component Engineering:

  • Handling and addressing mailbox inquiries, helping and support for mailbox-related tasks.
  • Specialise in managing component obsolescence databases, which involves tracking the life cycle status, export control, and REACH/RoHS compliance.
  • Internal processing of obsolescence notifications.
  • Sheet analysis, processing of data, and generation of reports.
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities
