Gloucestershire Contract £600-700 per day

We're currently seeking an experienced and ambitious Data Science/Innovation Specialist to lead our teams at our exceptional client in a secure environment, delivering challenging and highly rewarding projects.

These contract roles will require you to conduct security clearance prior to assignment. Opportunities are available in Gloucestershire.

This Data Science/Innovation Lead role is conducted in an environment that is far from ordinary, therefore, we're not looking for ordinary. You'll make a real difference to a key IT transformation. Our client's Data Science Analyst community require support and leadership on their journey and to respond to this challenge, our client are growing a team to own and deliver the organisation's innovation projects; leveraging technology to maximise their impact.

This vital lead role will shape how the Innovation Enabling Team productionise analyst -developed capability and interface with the wider teams supporting stakeholders; ensuring that effective and sustainable capability is being delivered in coherence with software best practice.

They will also play a role in supporting effective innovation lifecycles and governance processes, in concert with the adjacent teams, to ensure prototypes are being brought through the innovation cycle at the right time.

Your experience:

In order to be successful, you'll have experience of:

• Working with users to understand their requirements.
• Employing statistical data analysis methods and/or machine learning techniques. Including:
• Choosing the best methods appropriate to the data.
• Innovating around established methods and new methods.
• Maintaining an awareness of new advances in the field.
• Design, code, test, correct and document programs and scripts.
• Development of algorithms with an eye to scalability and sustainability.
