Role Title Training Deliver/Designer
Location Remote
Duration 3 Month (initially)
Working Week 4 Days

This role requires a hybrid of a Learning Designer and Deliver who will assist with the delivery of training to individuals, small businesses and charities by utilising either online, face to face training or visiting organisations to deliver workshops to their clients/staff. A good business acumen will greatly help you to understand the needs of our clients.

There will also be a requirement for the successful candidate to review existing training packages (either off the shelf or bespoke) and amend where necessary to ensure that the content is suitable for the different audiences.


Duties of a Deliver/Designer

In order to carry out this role, each candidate must be able to provide evidence of experience in the following areas:
1. Deliver purposeful and engaging training sessions for our end user organisations or individuals. You will be passionate about enabling individuals to learn and grow, whilst been able to adapt to deliver on a number of topics to our audience groups. You will be continuously looking to improve our resources using your experience, external insights and feedback from the training delivery to end users/learners.
2. Evolve existing content and prepare it for development/delivery. You will be able to take existing materials and suggest improvements. This will sometimes be existing content on the Academy or be content we have acquired from partners. You will need to be able to take complex language or different tone of voice and bring them into our own training standards. It would be great if you were able to demonstrate the following areas of knowledge and expertise:
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal - being able to adapt your tone of voice and your communications to the audience.
* Experience in the design, creation and delivery of online modules, interactive webinars, and face to face learning from new concept, to research, right through to the preparation for delivery. to curating training materials from our partners.
* Designing learning material within new frameworks and adapting to the standard of Plain English used in different organisations (We use Flesch Kincaid Reading Ease).
* Creating accessible content and delivering inclusive training sessions

* An understanding of both Corporate, Small Business and Charitable Organisations and how they operate.
* Excellent facilitation, presentation and delivery skills with knowledge of different learning theories and styles.
* Experience of delivering training virtually or face to face, i.e. Webex / MS Teams (if appropriate to the method of delivery required by the program)
* Oral communication - clear, concise and able to adapt to different group dynamics.
* Able to adapt to change, often at pace, whilst delivering accurate procedural, product and process content within risk governance.
* Organisational skills - The ability to multi task, be proactive and ability to work on own with minimal guidance.
* Stakeholder management / managing relationships - ability to work at all levels including senior stakeholders.
