The role
HMP New Hall Mother and Baby Unit is a 9 bed unit that offers holistic support for mothers and their babies who are often vulnerable and may have complex emotional and health needs. We work closely with a range of professionals and as part of a team to offer the best positive outcomes for the mothers on the unit and this is a vital part of our work
As an Early Years Room Lead, you will be working to provide high quality, stimulating care for all the babies at the Registered Day-care, ensuring their developmental needs are met.
You will make a difference by:
- Planning and executing exciting interventions to help develop babies.
- Observing, monitoring and assessing development.
- Adhering to safeguarding polices and procedures.
- Working well within a team.
- Carrying out risk assessments.
- Updating assessment files.
You will need:
- An Early Years Leve 3 Qualification is a MUST.
- Experience dealing with vulnerable families would be desirable.
- To be emotionally resilient.
- A positive and caring attitude.
- A Driver's Licence and access to own car to use for business purpose is essential.
