The EHS Occupational Hazards Advisor will support the Project Management teams for Battery Materials eLNO program globally and will have a broad understanding of EHS systems and legislation.

Duties

  1. Monitoring and reporting on leading and lagging EHS indicators for projects globally
  2. Advising on project environment, health and safety issues for project technical, engineering and legal teams as required
  3. Supporting the projects in the occupational safety aspects of design, including industrial hygiene, containment, travel safety, stress management, behavioural safety, occupational health, contractor control, EHS management of large scale construction projects, ergonomics, managing change, off site working, and other EHS related subjects
  4. Supporting all interfaced functions
  5. Advising on compliance with legal and EHS standards, working with the Regulatory Compliance Advisor
  6. Assisting in the investigation of significant incidents / learning events and making recommendations for corrective action, administering the Enablon reporting systems for BM projects globally
  7. Ensuring effective implementation of EHS policies and procedures relating to BM eLNO projects
  8. Working as part of the Project EHS team supporting hazard studies as required
  9. Supporting the engineering and technical teams on the design and build of processes to meet life-saving policy standards
  10. Supporting the EHS manager, capital projects in the training program and training matrix for the project teams
  11. Proactive in supporting projects through all phases from design, construction safety, to start up and handover
  12. Bridge with other sectors to implement, promote and encourage industry best practice
