Electrical Fitter

MBDA, a reputable partner of the Ministry of Defence in the UK, is seeking a skilled Electrical Fitter to join their team at the Bolton site. The primary responsibilities of this role include executing manufacturing and testing activities within the electrical department. The ideal candidate will adhere to product certification procedures, maintain high workmanship standards, and effectively manage budgets and timelines to achieve project goals.

What we're looking for:

• Formal technical engineering/ craft Electrical apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21.
• Formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent.
• IPC 610 certified/ trained preferred.
• Possess experience in electrical wiring, electrical fitting, and assembly (It is highly essential that you highlight these details on your CV.)
• Previous experience in the aerospace or defence industry would be desirable.
• Manual handling training; ESD training.
• Lifting and slinging (including overhead cranes) training.

What you'll get to do as an Electrical Fitter:

• Certify the product in line with Product Certification procedure.
• Demonstrated ability / willingness to certify own work in line with company quality standards.
• Maintain product certification and approval via regular audits.
• Operate a versatile skill base with the capability to apply these skills across a range of tasks.
• Fully conversant with all equipment, tools and measuring instruments associated with the manufacturing cycle.
• Ensure manufacturing build, inspection and where relevant test times are met.
• Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.
