MBDA, a trusted partner of the UK's Ministry of Defence, is currently searching for a highly skilled Electrical Manufacturing Technician with extensive experience in the field. The selected candidate will be responsible for various tasks such as assembly, inspection, and testing and will receive clear direction from a knowledgeable Team Leader regarding priorities associated with these functions.

To be an Electrical Manufacturing Technician, one must have a versatile and flexible skillset and be able to certify products. The candidate should be skilled in using a variety of equipment, tools, gauges, and measuring instruments to create, fix, and alter company products to meet specified build standards and requirements.

What you'll get to do as an Electrical Manufacturing Technician:

  • Experience in electrical wiring and assembly.
  • Ability to certify products according to the certification procedure and conduct regular audits to maintain product certification and approval.
  • Versatile skill set applicable to various tasks.
  • Familiarity with equipment, tools, and measuring instruments used in manufacturing.
  • Meet manufacturing build, inspection, and test time requirements and thoroughly review and complete all manufacturing data pack paperwork.
  • Uphold high craftsmanship standards and product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant manufacturing procedures.
  • Prioritize maintaining a safe working environment and implement and maintain good housekeeping practices.
  • Share best practices with team members.

More about the role:

MBDA's relationship with the UK military spans back over 70 years. They have delivered countless landmarks in defence engineering, supplying vital defence capability to meet the needs of the armed forces over land, sea, and air.
