The UK's trusted Ministry of Defence partner, MBDA, are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer responsible for developing the real-time systems application software for the next generation of Missile Systems. This hands-on technical role will involve designing, implementing, and testing safety-critical Actuator subsystem software for missile products. The capable and adaptable candidate will join our Development Facility in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
What we're looking for:
- Demonstrable experience in complex real-time software development on Bare-Metal systems.
- Strong C Programming.
- Good problem-solving capability to investigate software/hardware issues.
- Experience working on safety-critical software (SIL3/4 or DO178C software level B/A).
- Experience working in a lab environment on an electro-mechanical product running embedded software.
- Requirements analysis/review or authoring in DOORS.
- Use of configuration control tools such as RTC & git.
- You must be a UK national or citizen to be eligible for the role.
