Overview:
Perform EMC test activities and provide technical support to the requirements of Airbus Defence and Space business units. Work to be carried out in accordance with Mil Std 461, Mil Std 462, ECSS-E-ST-20-07C and Airbus Defence and Space internal Design, Interface, Environment and Test requirements (DIETs).
Where required, provide testing service to the requirements of external commercial
customers.

Main Activities:
Perform EMC testing on space and commercial hardware to a high technical standard primarily at Airbus Defence and Space locations, but in addition at any location deemed necessary by the EVT manager. This includes correctly setting up tests and ensuring test equipment is operated in the correct manor and is within calibration. Ensure that all testing is performed in a safe manner.
Performing Radiated and Conducted Emission and Susceptibility tests
Performing Radiated H-Field Emissions and Susceptibility tests
Performing Conducted Susceptibility PSU disturbance tests.
Generate test reports from the collected data.
To review test procedures and comment on/amend their content.
Raise quotations against external customer specifications.
Maintenance of the associated test facilities.
Ensuring test logs are completed and all measurement data is accurately recorded, stored and filed using the systems implemented within EVT.
Assist in EMC design and fixes, performing corrective action from test result analysis.
Attend TRR's, TRB's, NRB's and / or any other relevant internal meetings, as an EMC representative.
Participate in the development of the EMC test facility, suggesting new ideas to improve efficiency and technical competence.
Assist the EVT manager to achieve the goals of the department, and assist with costs and scheduling within the group.
Any other duties deemed appropriate by the EVT manager.
