We are looking to recruit a Financial Analyst.

You will be responsible for supporting the production of high-quality financial analysis and management reporting, identifying and highlighting risks and opportunities on a regular basis

Provide analytical support and financial analysis to inform strategic decision making and long term financial planning purposes, supporting the delivery of the most efficient use of resources and maximising value for money.

Duties of a Financial Analyst:

  • Deliver high quality, insightful long term financial analysis of the business, including development, sales and operating business, to enable robust and independent financial oversight on a regular basis
  • On an ongoing basis, monitor and assess the financial performance of long term financial metrics contained within the financial plan
  • Analyse and review the financial impact of new business initiatives and strategic decisions on overall organisational financial capacity, informing and advising the organisation of the impact and potential financial risks and mitigants
  • Ensure that financial information within the financial plan is updated and accurate on a regular basis, incorporating new forecast and budget information and economic insights and forecasts, supporting the long term planning process
  • Support the development team in keeping financial information up to date and accurate within pamwin, assisting the development and maintenance of pamwin and challenging and investigating anomalies
  • Working with others in the team, provide long term reporting and analysis as required to the organisation's key external stakeholders, including: ratings agencies, the housing regulator (including the FFR), auditors.

Experience:

  • Analytical skills
  • Accountancy level
  • Team work qualification
  • Good communication skills with skills to communicate to multiple departments within the Business.
  • Experience within the Housing or property sector
