Location: Filton, Bristol

Hourly Rate: £30.37ph PAYE/£40.17ph Umbrella

Working Requirements: Fully onsite

Contract Until: January 2025 (with the possibility of extension)

Guidant Global is delighted to be partnering with Airbus, a global pioneer in the aerospace industry, in their search for a Fuel Systems Installation Design Engineer, to join the Wing Fluid Systems Installation team.

This role will provide an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with aircraft Systems Installation experience combined with design skills to join the high performing team supporting the full range of Airbus commercial aircraft with opportunities to engage in a wide range of customers, stakeholders, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

In this role you will support varied activities across the 'end to end' design process including:

• Conceptual design
• Current product modifications
• Support to manufacturing sites
• Support to in service support and continued airworthiness

Skill Set

Essential

• Experience in a Design Engineering role with Systems Installation experience
• Competent user of Catia with experience of configuration toolsets i.e. PASS, DPDS, VPM, ICC
• Be able to provide a flexible approach to varied activities

Desirable

• Previous Airbus experience
• Previous Fuel Systems Installation experience
