Title: Garment Technologist - (Contract)
Contract Dates: ASAP to 22/12/2025
Rate: £275 per day - Umbrella
Location: Fully site-based in London
Role Overview:
Our client is is seeking a Product/Garment Technologist - Soft Accessories, with strong expertise in garments, woven and knitwear. This role is pivotal in ensuring quality and consistency from concept through to final product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage PLM admin, fit comments, and size charts.
- Review construction and product risks with vendors; communicate findings cross-functionally.
- Identify cost engineering opportunities.
- Coordinate seasonal fit meetings aligned with critical path.
- Communicate fit evaluations and amendments to vendors.
- Oversee testing processes with external test houses.
- Manage blocks and construction quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with technical specs and safety regulations.
Ideal Profile:
- 3+ years in apparel or soft accessories.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction and finishing.
- Experience in pattern making and grading.
- Solid understanding of raw materials and testing.
- Proficient in PLM systems and MS Office.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and a strong communicator.
