Ground Operator - Beluga Line Station
Location: Broughton, Chester
Contract: Permanent Salary: £33,579 per annum + 3 on 4 off (Days 29% shift uplift)

Are you ready to play a vital role in the logistics behind some of the world's most advanced aircraft- At Guidant Global, we're searching for proactive, safety-conscious Ground Operators to support operations at the Beluga Line Station in Broughton. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position where you'll be at the heart of Airbus wing transportation, working across multiple aircraft programmes including Single Aisle, Long Range, and A350.
What You'll Be Doing-
- Wing & Component Movement: Safely offload and transport major aircraft components and wing assemblies.
- Operate specialised equipment to move items between production, inspection, and storage areas.
- Jig & Trailer Operations: Load and dispatch Air Transportation Jigs and Wing Transport Trailers to Final Assembly Lines and international sites such as Bremen.
- Decant and return support beams and geo structures to designated areas.
- Beluga Aircraft Turnaround: Support the turnaround of Beluga ST and Beluga XL aircraft, ensuring timely and efficient loading and unloading.
- Multi-Programme Support: Work across Single Aisle, Long Range, and A350 programmes, adapting to varied operational needs.
What We're Looking For-
A strong team player with a safety-first mindset. Experience in logistics, warehousing, or transport operations (aviation experience is a plus!). Comfortable working shifts and handling large components and equipment. For night shift roles: Class 1 Driver qualification required.
