Location: Broughton

The role

To support with operational teams based onsite at our client's location in Broughton. This role will be both an advisory and business partner role and will require the successful applicant to both advise upon and deliver outcomes in a compliant and commercially viable way. You will ensure that HR policies are applied and that HR processes are implemented effectively and consistently taking into account the type of worker engaged.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day to day HR support for the Account Team
  • Management of Senior Stakeholders across the business
  • Query management through our HR inbox
  • Manage sickness absence levels within each area and follow relevant absence policy
  • Attend weekly people/ sickness reviews with the client
  • Return to work interviews
  • Both advise on and deliver outcomes and conduct investigations
  • Ensure policies are fit for purpose and all Impellam policy updates are communicated to the Account Team
  • Advising on contract extensions
  • Exit interviews ensure these are conducted for all workers and results collated
  • AWR compliance
  • GDPR Administration and reporting

About you:

To succeed in this position, you must have the following knowledge and skills:

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent, preferably in Human Resource Management or Business Studies.
  • 1 - 2 years experience within a large HR function
  • Knowledge of the main HR processes, IT tools, and relevant legislation.
  • Generalist HR knowledge with strong change and strategic competencies.
  • A highly pro-active mind-set: the ability to anticipate and address business issues and offer solutions to managers.
  • Good communication and conflict management skills, teamwork and networking abilities.
  • CIPD qualified, or working towards this qualification, is desirable.
