Responsibilities and Requirements
In the Product Characterisation Group you will be responsible for analysis and characterisation of research and developmental Syngenta active ingredients and formulations. The role may involve development and troubleshooting of chromatographic methods with an emphasis on Gas Chromatography, High Performance Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry, under the guidance of your supervisor. The department is equipped with state of the art analytical equipment including spectroscopic and thermal analysis instruments, and has access to Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy. Requires good knowledge of analytical chemistry theory, good basic practical skills and the ability to work in and interact with a team.
Payment & Terms
The salary is circa £ 18,500 per annum, including a paid holiday entitlement. Assistance in finding suitable accommodation is available. Membership of the recreation club allows access to a range of on-site sports facilities including a fully fitted gym, tennis courts, all-weather pitch and sports fields along with trips to shows and events.
