Job Summary

This role will directly support the Head of Legal to provide commercially focused legal advice on all aspects of the UK Sandoz business. Carrying out the role will provide extensive development opportunities through exposure to challenging business issues in a fast moving environment.

Job Accountabilities

  • Provide support to the UK Head of Legal to better facilitate delivery of timely advice to the UK business on legal and commercial risks.
  • Coordinate and filter input from relevant support functions (Compliance, Supply Chain, Regulatory etc.) where this is required to develop the legal position on an issue.,
  • Support on the drafting, negotiation and implementation of simple contracts and other agreements with suppliers and customers.
  • Work with relevant Sandoz stakeholders at European and Global level.
  • Contribute to the development of Sandoz UK's position on various strategic and policy initiatives.
  • Development and delivery of training materials to educate Sandoz team on the impact of legal developments

We are looking for an individual who can meet the following criteria:

  • Degree in law
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation capabilities
  • Ability to work unsupervised between regular task reviews.
  • Capable of building relationships quickly and strong influencing/negotiation skills
  • Experience in multi-disciplinary projects
