Duties and Responsibilities
An opportunity has arisen to join a friendly and dedicated team providing library services to staff and students from the Client School of Life and Medical Sciences (SLMS), and staff employed by the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
This vacancy is based at the Royal Free Hospital Medical Library.
Duties will include staffing the Library Issue Desk, answering enquiries, troubleshooting local technology issues, shelving books and providing administrative support for all library facilities and functions. The post holder will also assist with maintaining a safe and efficient environment for all library users and help with closing the library at the end of the shift.
This is an on-campus role. It is not suitable for regular remote working.
Key Requirements
You will have experience of working in a customer focused environment, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be committed to customer service excellence. Excellent IT skills are also a requirement of the posts as well as the ability to work independently and possess a flexible approach to your work.
Experience of working in a library or information environment is desirable but not essential.
Work Pattern:-
Monday - Wednesday 17.00-22.00
Saturday 10.00-18.00
