Logistics Business Controller
Location: Broughton (60% onsite working required)
Hours: 35 per week (4.5 days, flexible between 7am-7pm)
Pay: £21.68/hr (PAYE) or £29.00/hr (umbrella)
Clearance: BPSS+ (completed by Airbus Security)

What You'll Be Doing
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead financial planning and forecasting, providing clear guidance in line with company strategy.
- Develop and maintain multi-year financial targets.
- Build and run financial models, scenarios, and business cases to support decision-making.
- Anticipate financial risks and opportunities, advising on mitigation strategies.
Business Partnering & Decision Support
- Understand the operational environment, including governance and business challenges.
- Challenge business requests constructively to ensure robust financial outcomes.
- Advise on cost optimisation and competitiveness initiatives, monitoring savings and improvements.
Reporting & Data Quality
- Produce accurate, insightful financial reports at the right level of detail.
- Analyse performance, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support resource reviews, headcount planning, and cost allocation.
- Approve and audit purchase orders, review commitments, and trigger cost rebookings as needed.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive process improvements within the business area.
- Champion best practice in financial reporting and governance.

- Strong understanding of financial reporting and governance.
- Confident with financial modelling and analysis.
