Manufacturing Process Engineer

As a flexible Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will primarily focus on work preparation to industrialise minor and significant modifications for single-aisle aircraft.
To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
· Translate design intent into the compilation and control of technical instructions and Manufacturing Engineering data for use in aircraft detail manufacture, assembly, test and certification, utilising current business tools
· Implement best-practice methods, tools and processes from first principles to meet current and future business requirements
· Deliver detailed work preparation definition for aircraft production
· Ensure that all work and documentation meets departmental procedural and regulatory requirements.
To apply for this process engineer role, you will need to be competent in the modification of aircraft supporting both mechanical and electrical systems. You will also require the following:
· Knowledge of lean principles
· Application and knowledge of the current business management tools
· Ability to operate from first principles in manufacturing disciplines and activities requiring technical skills and knowledge to make daily business decisions.
In return for your knowledge and expertise, you will receive a favourable hourly rate of £27.33 PAYE or £36.16 Umbrella.
