About the Role
Reporting to the Co-Production Communications and Marketing Manager, this role will support the marketing and communication activities of the Co-Production and Public Engagement team. For Co-Production Collective, this will involve supporting the delivery of our web and social media presence, external communications such as our blog posts and monthly newsletters and working with project partners to publicise our work. You will also support facilitation and organisation of events for our community of people interested in co-production. For UCL Public Engagement, you will also support the delivery of our internal-facing communications including our monthly newsletter and social media presence.
This role will be a great chance to learn and develop within the team. It will suit someone with proven experience in leading the coordination of marketing and communications who is proactive and flexible. They should also be passionate about our mission to create lasting change through co-production and capable of building relationships with a wide range of people.

Main purpose of the job
To coordinate internal and external communications and marketing for the Co-Production and Public Engagement Team with oversight from the Co-Production & Communications Manager and in line with the UCL Strategic Plan 2022-27 and the Co-Production Collective strategy 'Our Direction 2023-28'.
Duties and responsibilities
- Coordinate the development and delivery of Co-Production Collective communications and marketing (including our blog, monthly newsletter, email inbox, website updates and social media) in a way that reflects our values and report on progress.
- Coordinate the development and delivery of UCL Public Engagement internal communications (including our LinkedIn and Bluesky social media presence), raising awareness of team's services across UCL.
- Lead on (with input from other team members and community members) the administration in relation to Co-Production Collective events, networking sessions (our CoPro Cuppas) and workshops in a way which is reflective of and responsive to our values. This will include updating marketing and communications plans, sharing joining information, and answering questions.
- Promote the services offered by Co-Production Collective as well as promotional activities designed to grow our community, generate awareness of our offer and generate income.
- Coordinate the development of processes to support growth of the Collective.
- Develop relationships with a range of community members with lived experience and groups involved in our work.
