We're currently seeking an accomplished and highly ambitious M&E Specialist to work with our exceptional client, a world class brand in a secure environment to drive major business transformation, process and technical change across this complex organisation which will run well into 2025.

These contract roles will require you to conduct security clearance prior to assignment. Opportunities are available in Gloucestershire, but covering multiple sites, so with some travel required.

These M&E Specialist roles are conducted in an environment that is far from ordinary, therefore, we're not looking for ordinary. You'll have the potential to work effectively across a large estate, supporting the broadest range of teams and a diverse range of functions within our community. You will be encouraged and assisted to enhance your skills on unique work and projects.

You will be able to demonstrate your enthusiasm and vast experience of technical leadership to deliver flexible and outstanding solutions for internal and external senior stakeholders, helping to keep our estate and efficient. Exceptional stakeholder management skills are a must. Highly analytical, flexible and diligent, with first-class influencing skills, you'll possess the ability to build effective relationships internally and externally to drive high and lasting impact across the estate and the organisation. You need to be a chartered engineer and a member of the IET, with experience of working in a secure environment, ideally a technical one.

Your experience:

As an exceptional M&E Specialist, you will have worked within a building construction and facilities management environment and provided assurance services across a broad portfolio of delivery and business as usual activities, typically:

  • M&E commissioning and assurance of Data Centres
  • M&E input and assurance through RIBA design stage of new builds and accommodation changes
  • Specialist input to Electrical Systems outage planning
  • Leading on technical assurance of Facilities Management Contracts across multiple sites
  • Mentoring of and knowledge exchange to subject matter experts at various stages through their career
  • Assistance to appointed Authorising Engineer electrical duties
  • Lead on technical input to M&E roadmaps, capital investment plans and forward maintenance plans.

These roles are available on 12/24 month contracts (inside IR35) and will have a hybrid element with up to 2 dpw remotely.
