Multi Drop Delivery Driver 3.5t (manual)

We are hiring for Delivery Drivers to join our team working with one of the world's largest Dot.com online grocery retailers.

About the Role:

Your role will be to deliver groceries and household products to our customers who are located in areas from Redhill, City of London, Dartford and Richmond. Although this is a 0 hour role we are extremely busy and can offer a good level of work.

We are looking for a person with exceptional customer service skills, who is capable of building strong relationships with our customers. You will be able to demonstrate flexibility and integrity, whilst being legally compliant in your duties. You will take pride in your work and be part of a great team, delivering to our customer base.

We expect our Delivery Drivers to exceed customer expectations and use their initiative to deal calmly and efficiently with unexpected situations. This job may entail working with heavy products and involves lifting.

Please note that due to the nature of the role, your shift can over run so must be flexible.

Duties:

• Safely and efficiently operate a commercial 3.5 tonne van (manual) to deliver to our customers
• Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle
• Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to customers
• Handling products with care
• Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Keeping the van clean and tidy (incl washing) and refuel (filling station on site)

A Driver Assessment will be required for this role as well as other training. All training must be completed before solo driving. Estimated duration of training is 1 week. Please ensure you are able to complete the training.

Essential skills, experience and qualifications:

Full UK Manual Driving Licence (No more than 3 penalty points)

Well-presented, customer-focused, and offer 'perfect door-step customer experience'

Shift Pattern: PM Drivers full time to include 1 day at weekends (non negotiable - must be able to work at least 1 day a few weekends per month)

Start time between 12:00pm - 3:00pm. 8 hour shift. If you have a short route you may be asked to help other drivers out or complete tasks within the warehouse to complete your 8 hours.
