Overview:
We are recruiting for a Temporary Occupational Health Administrator on behalf of an International Chemical Manufacturer based on site here at Royston, Hertfordshire.
This is seasonal cover - expected to last 2 weeks between Wednesday 11th and Tuesday 24th December 2019.
Job Purpose:
The purpose of the job is to provide clerical and administrative assistance to the OH Department and the UK OH Manager.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Booking appointments for initial and routine health surveillance, health screening, management referrals, travel health, vaccinations
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times in line with departmental policy
- Maintaining up-to date and accurate manual and computerised records for OH in accordance with Data Protection, Medical Confidentiality and Company requirements
- To ensure that filing is done in a timely and accurate manner
- E-mailing and sending out of letters, reports associated with the OH function and chasing outstanding reports from Specialists
- Other duties may include some ordering/stock level responsibilities, ensuring FA supplies are sent to First Aiders as requested, booking meeting rooms, supporting a work experience/apprentice if the opportunity arises
Experience Required:
- Previous experience of working within a Medical or Occupational Health Environment
- Fully computer literate
- Experience using OPAS or similar OH database
- Must be organised and an excellent communicator
