Role Overview
Occupational health case management experience including complex case management.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate health surveillance programme; including independently performing the assessments, analysing the results and appropriate feedback to managers i.e., Spirometry, Audiometry, skin assessments and biological monitoring.
* Promote and support employee's wellbeing with proactive measures.
* Make recommendations with regards any necessary workplace modifications e.g., posture and/or work environment and display screen assessments.
* Undertake fitness for task assessments e.g., forklift truck, working at height, travel health
* Work collaboratively with the Senior Occupational Health Advisor in the promotion of procedures and standards and ensuring evidence-based practice is implemented.
* Able to develop strong and collaborative working relationships within occupational health team and with internal clients i.e., human resources, managers at all levels.
* Ensure referrals are progressed in a prompt and efficient manner.
Skill Set
Essential
* Specialist Community Public Health Nurse - Occupational Health on Part 3 of the Nursing and Midwifery Council register.
* Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Occupational health.
* Experience of independently carrying out health surveillance i.e., Spirometry, Audiometry, skin surveillance and venepuncture.
Desirable
* Experience of delivering presentations.
