Action for Children is one of the designated providers of the Cafcass Separated Parents Information Programme for North Yorkshire, Teeside and Bradford. The courses are to run cover the following areas: Bradford, Selby, Knaresborough, Scarborough and Teesside.

As well as helping parents manage the challenges of life after separation, the programme seeks to enable parents to consider situations from their child's perspective, and provides advice and support on how to help children who are in this situation.

Most parents attending a SPIP have been referred by the court, and are funded by Cafcass. The service is also able to offer the Programme to parents who are not in the court proceedings, this is subject to paying privately for attendance.
