We have a new, exciting opportunity for 5 Pensions Admin Technicians to join our team in Bristol. The role will involve supporting the successful take on of new administration services from another 3rd party supplier. The role holder will learn new product and procedural skills, including the use of the Bancs administration system and will eventually become a technical expert for other colleagues within their department as we take on the services. The role will report into a Team Manager and the role-holder will be a key technical and procedural SME for the operation. There may also be opportunity for the role-holder to branch into Quality and Training activity in support of other colleagues.

Your Role With Us:

  • You will have an opportunity to work with the current 3rd party supplier and other Diligenta Ops colleagues to understand the products and procedures in readiness for service take-on
  • Develop the technical and procedural skills to operate as a key contact point/subject matter expert for product, process and system enquiries post-service take on
  • Provide support for colleague training in readiness for Service take-on
  • Post service take-on, operate as an operational / technical SME to deal with technical referrals in line with the agreed SLA's.
  • Providing support as appropriate and required to ensure SLA achievement is maintained.
  • To work within a strong control environment
  • Ensure the accountabilities of the role are delivered in line with Diligenta's values of acting with integrity and honesty.

What We're Looking For:

  • Knowledge of Life and or Pension products is essential
  • Ability to acquire a clear understanding of life and pensions processing, legislation and calculations
  • Ability to learn relevant accounting processes linked to the appropriate systems and processes.
  • Experience of delivering life and or pensions administration
  • Experience of working accurately and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work unsupervised and achieve targets set
  • Ability to maintain and challenge procedures
  • Computer skills competency
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Act as a focal point for all queries from your own team and other teams interfacing with you.
  • Maintain and develop further skill levels within the team. Ongoing training of other team members and training of any new recruits.
  • Assist and support the team leader to implement policy, strategy and priorities whilst maintaining control and team standards
  • Ability to take on board product and process knowledge and apply it quickly and effectively.
