3 MONTH CONTRACT
To collate and analyse Procurement Management Information from a variety of sources to generate insights, make business recommendations and enable informed decisions to be made in procurement strategy, planning and development of category plans.
Supports Category Lead / Manager in achieving the goal of significant initial cost reductions by conducting analyses on spend data through various dimensions e.g. volumes, geographical, price trends, should-cost analyses and researching trends in relevant supply markets
Conducts research on economic trends in key supply markets, cross-sector comparisons and monthly status reports
Duties -
- Conducting analyses on spend data/researching trends
- Assisting Category Lead / Managers by conducting supply market research
- Updating key market indices
- Assisting in spend data analysis and financial analyses
- Comparing spend, prices and performance across sectors and sites
- Assisting in preparing monthly procurement performance status reports
- Upholding internal and external policies, regulations and law
- Liaising with procurement staff at all levels to support development of category plans
- Liaising with procurement staff at all levels to analyse contract spend and trends
- Creating procurement dashboards providing visibility and insights in to global spend across various dimensions
- To carry out any other duties which are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.
