Our esteemed client, a reliable partner of the UK Ministry of Defence, is searching for a proficient Product Assurance Engineer to join their Quality Supply Chain team. The selected candidate would be responsible for supporting a wide range of Electronic equipment in Development, handling non-conformance management and conducting an audit of the missile production supply chain.

The candidate will be able to work with key stakeholders across the business, preventing/minimising product non-conformance, supporting smooth Equipment delivery, assuring reliable products, and increasing Customer satisfaction.

What we're looking for:

  • Ideally, minimum HNC/HND in Engineering or Quality Assurance
  • Experienced quality professionals, preferably within Electronic Engineering, with a proven track record in Product Assurance.
  • Proficient in using various quality assurance problem-solving and improvement methods such as 8D, RCA, DMAIC, etc.
  • Knowledge of the product lifecycle, specifically in the development area.
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to run reports in Excel, use SAP QM system, and document management tools
  • Demonstrating a keen sense of continuous improvement and the ability to initiate and execute improvements proactively is valuable

What you'll get to do as a Product Assurance Supply Chain Production Engineer:

The candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities in this role. Some of the critical tasks include reviewing, contributing, and maintaining Equipment Quality planning documentation, ensuring compliance to Electronic Engineering BMS procedures, planning and carrying out Product Life Cycle reviews, managing Product Non-Conformance, facilitating the implementation of Non-conformance process, supporting design and manufacturing defect investigations, and providing Non-Conformance data analysis and summary reports into Major Equipment and senior management reviews.

Additionally, the candidate will proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate Quality risks and issues for in-house equipment, participate in engineering process improvement and facilitating local flash audits, provide compliance and process improvement ideas, and perform Hardware Acceptance activities to ensure products conform to customer expected requirements.
