Project Manager - Operational Excellence

📍 Location: Brize Norton (100% onsite)

💼 Rate: PAYE (£41.10/hr) or Umbrella (£55.00/hr)

🕒 Hours: 35 per week (4.5 days, flexible between 7am-7pm)

🔐 Security Clearance: BPSS+ (ITAR restrictions apply)

About the Role

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead Operational Excellence System (OES) projects from start to finish
  • Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget, and to the highest quality
  • Drive continuous improvement and efficiency across engineering operations
  • Manage cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
  • Apply Agile methodologies to streamline delivery
  • Influence stakeholders and manage expectations with confidence
  • Integrate lessons learned and proactively manage risks and opportunities
  • Collaborate with suppliers and partners to ensure project success

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in project management within the aerospace industry
  • Strong background in Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement
  • Skilled in Agile frameworks, MS Project, and stakeholder engagement
  • Certified in PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills
  • Experience in change management and leading transformation initiatives

Nice to Have

  • Expertise in problem-solving tools like Root Cause Analysis and Process Mapping
  • A degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
