Project Support Officer

On site at Cheltenham Duration of contract: 12 months £350 - £500 per day inside IR35

We're currently seeking a number of ambitious Project Support Officers (PSOs) to work with our exceptional client in a secure environment, supporting challenging and highly rewarding projects.

These contract roles will require you to have a valid and active DV security clearance prior to assignment. Opportunities are available in Cheltenham.

These Project Support Officer roles are conducted in an environment that is far from ordinary, therefore, we're not looking for ordinary. You'll have the potential to work effectively across a diverse range of projects spanning multiple business units, such as communications, facilities, education, security and technical development.

You need to have excellent communication, organisation and delivery skills, with the ability to multi-task, analyse, plan and problem-solve with ease.

Your experience:

In order to be successful, you'll also require:

  • A track-record of success in similar Project Support Officer roles, possibly obtained in the financial services, banking, consultancy, tech, transport, FMCG, retail, or public sector.
  • Ability to work with a variety of methodologies (including agile) and technical teams.
  • Confident stakeholder engagement and management skills.
  • Knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes, including risk management, planning and benefits management.
  • Ability to work on several different activities and to work flexibly across these, offering support, as the need arises.
  • As well as an understanding of the Agile approach to development, PRINCE2 or APM Project Management qualifications would be beneficial.
