Overview:
We are recruiting for a SALES ASSOCIATE to be based on site in Edinburgh within a large International Pharmaceutical and Medical Company.
This role offers full time hours and is an interim contract; initially for 8-10 weeks with potential of extension.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Primary responsibility for Sales with small customers/small markets
- Development strategy for new markets within the Region and drive expansion
- Sales support for the Region
- Share market trends with the wider organisation and ensure that the Commercial strategy incorporates the needs of the assigned customers/markets
- To communicate with all customers (as assigned)
- Visit customers (as required), develop a passion for their needs and report visits into the common sales repository
- Identify and execute new business opportunities in the assigned area
- Demand planning on monthly basis for the Region
- Budgeting for customers/markets responsible for
- Continuously investigate and search for upside opportunities beyond current business and share best practices with other team members
- Communicate with other departments on aspects of the business that have commercial impact
Qualifications/Candidate Specification:
- A degree in Business/Pharmacy/Chemistry (or similar)
- MS Dynamics
- Fully conversant in PowerPoint and MS Excel
- Full computer literate
- Significant Sales and Customer Service exposure
- Previous experience working within Pharmaceutical/Health/Medical sales
