The purpose of this role is to administer and control the Customer Service rep function in its entirety. This role will be responsible for establishing professional communication and collaboration with Johnson Matthey's customers to achieve the company's strategic objectives which include but are not limited to on time and in full delivery, the meeting of the monthly sales targets, support to the Regional Supply Chain and Commercial teams and maintaining close interaction with the customer Service Analyst.

Main responsibilities -

  • Responsible for on time and accurate entry of the canner schedules in SAP.
  • Responsible for preparation of the delivery plan - with a 2- week rolling fixed confirmation to the canners.
  • Responsible for organizing weekly meetings with the Canners, followed by the relevant distribution of MOM.
  • Collaboration with internal departments, to ensure Canner needs are considered into Johnson Matthey's production process.
  • Collaborate with all internal stakeholders to ensure the sustaining of operational stock levels and accurate visibility in all storage locations in SAP.
  • Daily communication with the canners, to make sure that general requests are met and communicated internally; ensuring that timeous and appropriate feedback is provided to Canners with regards to their delivery requirements.
  • Accurate and on time communication with the canners for the delivery plan and escalation of any changes that may affect the Canner production lines.
  • Protecting Johnson Matthey's brand & reputation by always maintaining a high degree of professionalism when communicating with external customers.
  • All daily consumption (consignment center) to be reflected in SAP, to have on time/accurate payment from the Canners and correct finance reports.
  • Escalation and communication of schedule variation to internal/external stakeholder, as this may lead to lowering production capacities in the plant.
  • Very close collaboration with the Regional Supply chain and Commercial teams to achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Responsible for sharing customer knowledge and intelligence of the sales figures (current/future) to the Customer Service Analyst.
  • Ensure zero obsolescence by facilitating the run out and run in of products.
  • Providing any reports as requested for monthly reporting and any other adhoc reports.
  • To take on any other duties which are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.
  • Responsible for ensuring that Environment, Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to in the Customer Services function.
  • Enforce and promote workplace safety.
