We're currently seeking a highly experienced and ambitious Scrum Master to work with our exceptional client, a world class brand in a secure environment managing challenging and highly rewarding projects (both cultural and technical) across this complex organisation which will run well into 2025.

These contract roles will require you to conduct security clearance prior to assignment. Opportunities are available in the Home Counties.

These Scrum Master roles are conducted in an environment that is far from ordinary, therefore, we're not looking for ordinary. You'll have the potential to work effectively across a diverse range of projects spanning multiple business units, such as communications, facilities, education, security and technical development. You will be encouraged and assisted to enhance your skills on unique projects.

You will be able to demonstrate your enthusiasm and experience of managing small, diverse, multi disciplinary teams to deliver flexible and outstanding solutions for internal and external senior stakeholders. Exceptional stakeholder management skills are a must. Highly analytical, flexible and persuasive, with first-class leadership skills, you'll possess the ability to manage effective teams and deliver high impact, lasting change across the organisation.

Your experience:

As an exceptional Scrum Master you will have:

  • Significant experience of managing a variety of small/medium sized work packages working to the agreed scope and deliverables
  • Experience in several phases of the project lifecycle
  • Experience in both Waterfall and Agile delivery methods.
  • A track-record of success in similar Project Management roles, possibly obtained in the financial services, banking, consultancy, tech, transport, FMCG, retail, or public sector.
  • Experience of managing multiple medium / large sized projects and work packages.
  • Experience of monitoring project risks and developing mitigating strategies, escalating as appropriate, and managing project inter-dependencies.
  • As well as experience of the Agile approach to development, a relevant accreditation or professional affiliation - PRINCE 2 Practitioner, ISEB Certificate in IS Project Management, Foundation in MSP07 Programme Management method or Foundation in Management of Risk is also beneficial.
  • Good team-membership skills and able to gain the respect of peers
